A Typical Day at Fresh Start Health Retreat
YOGA OR MEDITATION CLASS (7 AM)
When you suffer from emotional issues, starting the day on a positive note is critical. Yoga will help you remove stagnant energy from the cells, and meditation will recharge you for the day.
GREEN SMOOTHIE AND CHECK-IN (8 AM)
Nourish your body with minerals and amino acids, and assist your digestion with working properly. Green smoothies include fruit, a variety of green leafy vegetables, and superfoods (Goji Berries, Chia Seeds, Incan Berries etc.)
HYDRATION (8 AM-1 PM)
Water is essential for our health, especially for brain function, as it has the smallest capillaries compared to other organs. Scheduled hydration is extremely beneficial for every cell.
MORNING CLEANSE TEA (8:30 AM)
Detox is essential in changing your body and brain chemistry. Do a reset with various herbal cleanses, which change twice a week, from the liver to blood and joints. Also, twice a week, we offer an advanced whole-body flush (breakfast is not served on those days).
BREAKFAST (9 AM)
Enjoy delicious, nutritious and beautiful to the eye vegan organic meal prepared by our chefs. Since digestion and liver are two systems that suffer most when we undergo emotional challenges, our meals are served with Liver Activation Shot™, as well as quality probiotics and digestive enzymes.
MORNING HEALTH CLASS (9:45 AM)
Physical and emotional health are inseparable. Learn how our bodies work and what they need to stay healthy, watch food preparation demos and learn how to create a balanced meal. Once a week, we organize group time, which allows participants to bond on a deeper level.
CUSTOM PROTOCOLS (10:45 AM)
Organ-specific health drinks and supplements customized to your health needs. Frequently, those include liver and adrenal support protocols, but they may differ.*
FITNESS CLASS OR INDEPENDENT WALK (11:00 AM)
Get your blood moving and moods lifted with energizing fitness classes, or walk on the beach.
WHEATGRASS & HORMONE BALANCING TONIC (11:45 AM)
Wheatgrass is one of the most effective drinks for cellular nourishment. It is served with cherry juice, as well as supplements for balancing the adrenal and thyroid glands.
AFTERNOON HEALTH CLASS (12 PM)
Learn some more about our physical health or emotional wellness. Emotional wellness topics, presented 2-3 times a week, may include trauma, vulnerability, addictions and others.
LUNCH (1 PM)
Time to add more nutrients. Our guilt-free healthy meals are served with a digestion-enhancing shot and more probiotics and digestive enzymes.
HYDRATION (1 -6 PM)
Enjoy more purified water with lemon juice, honey, or herbal teas. Please aim to finish your 3 litres of liquids, including morning and evening teas, by the evening.
INDIVIDUAL TREATMENTS (1:30-9:30 PM)
Based on your before and upon arrival physical and emotional health testing, you’ll receive an individual health plan, including one-on-one emotional wellness sessions, bodywork and other services.**
REST, INDEPENDENT OR GUIDED WALK (1:30-4:00 PM)
These unstructured rest periods are well-loved by our guests, who come from busy lifestyles on the schedule. Several times a week, our guide will take you to various places in the valley.
HEALTH VIDEO (4:00 PM)
Watch the video for the day in your room on a dedicated TV channel.
SUPPER (5:00 PM)
Following the principle ‘eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen and supper like a popper, our suppers consist of a hot vegetable soup and gluten-free crackers. This allows for the nervous, hormonal and digestive systems to take a break and restore optimally at night.
HYDROTHERAPY (5:30-8 PM)
Water is one of the most effective methods or of balancing the nervous system and releasing negative emotions. Using a combination of a steam bath, cold showers, and aromatherapy provides great physical benefits and powerfully cleanses and restores energetic organs that some people call aura and charkas. Note: The steam sessions’ availability and frequency depend on current COVID regulations and your individual health plan.
EVENING ACTIVITIES (7-9 PM)
We organize fun and relaxing activities two times a week, such as games, movies or bonfire nights.
GOOD NIGHT TEA (7-9 PM)
After coming from the steam room, enjoy a cup of relaxing herbal tea in the hotel lobby. The tea contains calming herbs, such as pasque flower, melissa and other nervous system tonics.
SLEEP TIME (9 PM)
Take your Custom Protocols, if they were given to you (based on the need). Let your body unwind and get so needed rest. Sleep tight!
* Even though the main Custom Protocols serving time is at 10:45 am, protocols may also be taken throughout the day, as needed: served with drinks and meals and as a self-serve. Custom protocols are usually offered 3 days on the 1st week (Thu to Sat) and 5 days on weeks 2 and 3 (Tue to Sat).
**Number of appointments per week depends on the individual cost of treatments and protocols in your individual health plan, as well as on the total budget allotted, based on the type of package you purchased (Basic, Enhanced or Advanced). The services are individualized to your health goals and needs. The plan is based on an a-la-carte system: individualized services and protocols provided are equal to the credit you purchased.
Note: Schedule on Sunday significantly differs from the above. It is a rest day with a guided Excursion and Art/ Craft Class, without meditation, yoga, educational classes or therapies. Week at Fresh Start is very intensive, and the unstructured day allows you to spend more time in reflection, reading or connecting with the family. Additionally, on the initial assessment day, fitness and yoga are not scheduled.
